These rare thigh high vintage boots were designed by Claude Montana for Ombeline Paris in the 1980's. We have been collecting Claude Montana pieces for many years and this is the first time we have been able to acquire his rare iconic thigh high boots! Boots like these were often featured on the Claude Montana runway and in his print ad campaigns.

These supple leather boots have square toes and close with a zipper that runs the entire length of the shaft to the 2.5" opening at the very top. This makes the boots so easy to get on! The color is a rich deep aubergine or a burgundy with more of a purple than red hue. The leather is incredibly soft and we especially love the quilting detail on the lower back portion of the boot and the waffle sole with V shaped heel.

Made in Italy and labeled a size 38 with Vibram half soles and heels.
